Nigerian Government Defends Installation Of Four Toll Gates On Abuja-Keffi-Makurdi Expressway

The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has stated that the four toll gates along the 260km Abuja-Keffi-Makurdi expressway meet the standards set by the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC).
In response to inquiries regarding the tolls in Abuja, Umahi clarified that the legislation governing the ICRC outlines both minimum and maximum criteria for tolling roads under concession. His comments come in light of concerns expressed by some commuters about the number of tolls on the newly completed expressway.
