It was a super celebration for the Founder and President of Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM) Worldwide, Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi over last weekend when he clocked 60. Full of life and bustling with energy, Prophet Adebisi jumped and danced with glee and glamour at the special Thanksgiving service in the massive church auditorium located in Ojodu, Lagos.
Joining him to honour the Majesty and Grace of God was the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo. Others are Orangun of Ila, Oba Abdulwahab Oyedokun and many other kings, General Overseer of Gospel Faith Mission International, (GOFAMINT) Pastor Dr. Elijah O. Abina, among thousands of worshipers who trooped into the church.
Resplendent with joy, giving due honour and high praise to Almighty God, the celebrant, Prophet Adebisi shared: ‘My mother is a palmwine seller, see what God has done in my life, all glory to God. That is why I was advising people in church that if you have a child misbehaving now, you should not lose hope on them, there is nothing God cannot do. My parents lost hope when I was young because of my character. But as you can see today – the king of my town, Orangun of Ila came to celebrate with me, we have other kings too, and to crown it all the Vice President of our country, His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.’

On national issues, Prophet Adebisi told Trek Africa Newspaper and other pressmen at the Thanksgiving service, ‘I am a lover of Nigeria and to the glory of God, I believe in this country. I have over 200 students that I send to school because I have the belief that it is my duty to help others. I strongly believe that we won’t have police if we have more people like me. This is because what I have, we share and live together.’
‘Many years ago, God told me that Nigeria is no. 1 in Africa. Our prayer is that God will give us good governance in Nigeria. Nigeria will not scatter. The Hand of the Lord is upon this nation. Get your PVC, this is an opportunity to vote for your choice.’
‘I have a vision for Nigeria. I know what God has said concerning this country, power at the centre will come to the west’, Adebisi declared.
A clergyman, Dr. Elijah Abina at the thanksgiving service glowingly described the celebrant. ‘He is an instrument in the hand of God not for his mission alone but for the Body of Christ and the whole world. He is a generous man, he is very humble. God has blessed him and He will continue to bless him. The sun will not smite him by day nor the moon by night.’
On her part, the wife of the Founder of Christ Miracle Church Mission worldwide, Pst. Mrs. Folashade Olatunbosun Adebisi shared with Trek Africa Newspaper that: ‘He is a servant of God to the core. I pray that God would grant him more years. This is first 60 years, he has 60 more years to go. I pray for more strength, more grace, more unction to be able to do the work of God effectively.’

On the coming elections, the mother in Israel said: ‘My advice to women is that it is women that makes the world go round, our prayers and commitment to this election is important. As women, we must advise our men that there should be peace in this election. We must also get on our knees.’
