In view of the challenges that Nigeria is faced with economically, security-wise, among others, the Chairman of Executive Group and Board Member, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan today urged Nigerians to exercise a bit more patience and tolerance with the leadership of the country, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.

He made this known as he joined all Nigerians to celebrate the National Day. The commemoration which is the 63rd Anniversary of the country’s independence is the first that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR will be celebrating as Nigeria’s President.

Speaking briefly to Trek Africa Newspaper, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan added that ‘the new leadership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is empathetic about the plight of Nigerians, hence it is leaving no stone unturned to bring succour.’

Noting that since the removal of petrol subsidy in May, 2023, many Nigerians have been plunged into poverty, he pleaded that ‘Nigerians exhibit a bit more patience and tolerance with the President and his team.’

While thanking the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for keeping Lagos moving with his THEMES+ Agenda, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan concluded that the economic policies pursued by President Tinubu are developmental in nature which may take a period before they begin to materialize.
