NAOWA PRESIDENT, LAGBAJA, OTHERS ATTENDS 3 – DAY PROTOCOL AND SECURITY SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY FIRST LADY TINUBU

The President of the Nigerian Army Officer’s Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, was among several high-profile dignitaries in attendance at a 3 – day Protocol and Security Seminar organized by the office of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON.
The colourful event which took place at the State House Conference Center Abuja from Thursday 26, to Saturday 28 October 2023, was organized for wives of top government functionaries and female government officials.
The Seminar was aimed at refreshing the knowledge of the distinguished participants on various faucets of Security and Protocol within the organizational workplace. Accordingly, the Seminar witnessed sterling presentations by carefully selected resource persons including the Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun, Director General Department of State Services, Mr Yusuf Magaji Bichi, and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ahmed Rufai.
The event also witnessed enthralling presentations from the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs, Mr BA Adeniyi, the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs Caroline Wuraola Adepoju and the Director General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, Professor Fatima Waziri – Azi amongst others.
Highlights of the event were the presentation of certificates of attendance to delegates, a special brunch with the First Lady, presentation of souvenirs, and group photographs.
