Man Arrested For Allegedly Killing Pastor Over Marital Affair with Wife

In a tragic turn of events, 43-year-old Wale Ogunsanmi has been arrested by the Osun State Police for allegedly killing his Church pastor, Shina Olaribigbe.
Trek Africa Newspaper reliably gathered that the 52-year-old pastor was reportedly stabbed to death by Ogunsanmi on January 1st, following allegations of marital affairs between the pastor and Ogunsanmi’s wife.
Ogunsanmi had been living separately from his wife for approximately a year when he allegedly broke into her residence, discovered her with Pastor Olaribigbe, and fatally stabbed the pastor with a knife.
A statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yemisi Opalola, on Friday, confirmed the suspect’s arrest.
The prompt response by officers from the Dugbe Division led to Ogunsanmi’s capture, and the recovery of the murder weapon.
Opalola disclosed that the victim’s body has been transferred to the Uniosun Teaching Hospital Mortuary for an autopsy.
“Investigation is ongoing. The command is working to ensure that justice is served,” Opalola said.
