The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has reinforced its reputation as one of Nigeria’s most impactful public-private security intervention institutions with the handing over of three Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) to the Lagos State Police Command. The latest presentation underscores the commitment of the Lagos State Government and the leadership of the LSSTF towards sustaining a proactive and well-equipped security architecture capable of responding effectively to evolving security realities. This intervention will significantly contribute to improving security operations in Lagos, widely regarded as Nigeria’s economic nerve centre and West Africa’s economic hub.

Over the years, the LSSTF has played a pivotal role in supporting security agencies including the Nigeria Police through the provision of operational vehicles, communication gadgets, protective equipment, surveillance infrastructure, logistics support, and continuous capacity-building initiatives. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and improving rapid response capabilities of the Nigeria Police Force across the state.
