LSSTF BOSS, BALOGUN FETES IGP KAYODE EGBETOKUN AT 59; COMMENDS HIM FOR CONSISTENCY AND DEDICATION

The Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun today celebrated the acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun on his 59th birthday.
In his brief celebratory remarks with Trek Africa Newspaper, the LSSTF boss, Dr. Balogun noted that the IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has demonstrated sagacity and willpower since the days when he worked directly with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, then as Governor of Lagos state and now that Asiwaju Tinubu is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. This, he noted, is ‘a function of consistency and dedication to service of the fatherland.’
Dr. Balogun shared with Trek Africa Newspaper, ‘The acting IG of Police, Kayode Egbetokun is a champion of amiable working relationship between the Police and the community. He is noted for a sound policing style and no-nonsense approach to laxity among his officers and men. He is ruthless about dealing with crimes and social vices.’
‘His first few months as Nigeria’s no. 1 police officer has been attended by visible results. I am optimistic that IGP Kayode Egbetokun has more to offer. May he continue to flourish. Happy birthday, IGP.’
