MILITARY CAREER
Lt. Col Bako is an extremely brilliant, paratrooper and a distinguished Leader.
He started his military career as a boy Soldier of the Prestigious Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria from 1996-2002 and held appointment of Boys Company Sergeant Major(B/CSM) of Delta Company of the 2001/2002 session.
He proceeded to Nigerian Defense Academy(NDA), Kaduna and was enlisted as a member of 56th Regular Combatant Course, then he held the appointment of Battalion Senior Under Officer(BSUO) of Dialet Battalion and thereafter proceeded to the Royal Military Academy, Sandurst and was granted presidential commission to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant into Nigerian Army Corp of Engineer.
He was celebrated and given an emotional farewell by the personnels /Soldier Wives(barracks women) for the role he played as an exceptional leader when he was the Commanding Officer Nwagwu Military Cantonment and Sector 2 Commander of JTF Operation Udoka . He also contributed significantly by assisting with humanitarian reliefs to communities around Ebonyi State.

– First in Order of Merit SENIOR COURSE 45 at Armed Forces Command Staff College & Staff College(AFCSC), Jaji.
– Best Service Paper, DEPARTMENT OF LAND WARFARE, AFCSC, Jaji.
Lieutenant Colonel Bako is currently a Directing Staff(DS) at Armed Forces Command & Staff College, Jaji.
