LENTEN SEASON ‘CALLS US TO SHOW COMPASSION’ – FIRST LADY, SEN. OLUREMI TINUBU

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has enjoined Nigerians to renew their commitment to compassion to fellow Nigerians in her message on the advent of the Lenten season. Trek Africa Newspaper can also report that she desires that Nigerians will maintain their nature as a ‘generous, caring, and loving people.’

 

In the message which she personally signed, The First Lady said: ‘As we commence the Lenten season in fasting and atoning for sins committed, let us reflect on how we can turn a new leaf, for our own good, the good of our families, communities and the Nation as a whole.’

 

‘We Nigerians are a generous, caring and loving people and times like these call for us to show more compassion to the needy and people around us. This is the time for us all to bring something to the table and contribute to the growth of our people and nation at large.’

 

‘May God grant all our requests and petitions, in Jesus Name. God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria’, Sen. Tinubu concluded.
