‘LAGOS’s MR. PEACE’ CP ABIODUN ALABI GETS COMMENDATION FROM GOV. SANWO-OLU, JUSTICE OGUNBIYI

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi has been commended for his proactive policing strategies which has made Lagos State a model of excellence for security in the country. Trek Africa Newspaper can report that these views were shared by the Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his guest, Justice Clara Ogunbiyi (retd) when he received the delegation of the Police Service Commission at the Lagos House, Marina yesterday.
Commending CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi who he oftens refers to as ‘Mr. Peace’ for championing peace, security, law and order in the state, the Governor assured that he will continue to encourage the Police to do what is right at all times.
Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu avowed his administration’s commitment to providing adequate first-class security for the entire local and foreign citizens within the state.
In the same vein, the acting Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Justice Clara Ogunbiyi (retd) commended CP Alabi and his men and officers. ‘The Police are doing a good job in Lagos and they could also replicate in all other states and parts of the country. Lagos is a model of how to handle security situations.’
She also thanked the Governor of Lagos State for the support of his administration which has enhanced the capacity of the Lagos State Police Command. ‘This is basically why we are here, to appreciate the Governor and that he should continue with the good work.’
‘We can see that security is top notch in Lagos and there is a lot of safety here and we wish and desire that other states within the country will also emulate Lagos because of the security situation which is top notch’, Ogunbiyi said.
