Kindness double takes Bayelsa Queens to Round of 16

Bayelsa Queens winger Kindness Ifeanyi has sent her Prosperity Girls side to the round of 16 of the Female President Federation Cup after her double stunned Naija Ratels 2-1 today.
Kindness scored once in each half in the 24 and 58 minutes and though Naija Ratels reduced the goals deficit in the 85th minute through Salisu Grace to end the game 2-1.
Kindness Ifeanyi has been in fine form for the Prosperity Girls since arriving the club.
Technical Adviser, Whyte Ogbonda said he is elated with the victory and was very impressed with the performance of his players. “Knowing that we played a formidable opponent, another NWFL side, unlike others that played championship sides, so I’m happy with their performance and the result”.
“For the team doing well this season, we want to thank the Bayelsa State Government for the motivation given to the club, that has been the drive, and the Chairman, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, for giving the technical crew free hands to work,” Whyte Ogbonda added.
Next for Bayelsa Queens football club is a home game against Benue Queens on Wednesday April 9, 2025, in a matchday 11 encounter at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.
