Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has formally taken over from Maj Gen Monguno as National Security Adviser.
Ribadu promises to live up to the expectations of Nigerians and also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for renewing hope of a more secure nation.
This medium Recalls that Tinubu appointed Mr. Ribadu as NSA, the first without military background since the return to democratic governance in 1999.
The announcement of his appointment put to rest the speculations that the president might consider a non-military person for the position.
