JUST IN! LAGOS PARKS COMMITTEE: ODUMOSU RECONCILES MC OLUOMO, ISTIJABAH; TRANSPORT GROUPS NO LONGER UNDER NURTW

The liaison officer of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, AIG Hakeem Odumosu retd. has facilitated a peace agreement between Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo and Azeez Abiola, aka Istijabah.
Trek Africa Newspaper can confirm that with this new development, the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria, TOOAN under the leadership of Istijabah among others are now officially brought under the Lagos State Parks Management Committee. This reconciliation move happened in the Lagos Ministry of Transportation.

It would be recalled that the activities of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos was suspended by Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in April, 2022 due to a long-standing rift. The rift was almost leading to a breakdown of law and order in the state.
An aide of ISTIJABAH, Mr. Ola who spoke exclusively with Trek Africa Newspaper said: ‘Lagos has already created the committee for motorparks. AIG Odumosu rtd is the liaison officer between the union and the state. We are presently now under the Lagos Parks Management Committee not in the union.’
‘Both MC Oluomo and Istijabah are now working together. There is no more problem. We have to work together to become one. That is our own perspective’, he concluded.
