JUST IN! CP ABIODUN ALABI NOW AIG ZONE 2 WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

AIG Abiodun Alabi, AIG In-Charge of Zone 2 Command
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi has been deployed to head the Police Zone 2 Command (comprising Lagos and Ogun states). Trek Africa Newspaper received the news of this deployment from the press release by the Force PRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi today. This deployment is with immediate effect.
‘Similarly, the following Senior Police Officers have been posted to also take up the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Inspectors-General of Police in charge of Zonal Police Commands as indicated against their names. They are AIG Police Mobile Force – CP Matthew Akinyosola, mni; AIG Zone 6 Calabar – CP Jonathan Towuru, mni; AIG Zone 11 Osogbo – CP Akande Sikiru Kayode; AIG Zone 17 Akure – CP Abimbola Adebola Shokoya.
It will be recalled that the Zone 2 Police Command was headed by new DIG Bode Adeleke who is on his way to Force HQ, Abuja.
