The 2023 elections is less than 50 days to go. The Presidential and the National Assembly Elections will hold on February 25th while that of Governorship and State Assembly poll holds on March 11th, 2023.

With this in view, the former Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji has urged Lagos residents yet to pick up their PVCs to do so now that the distribution is closer to their homes. He also urged them to remain resolute on the collection of their PVCs since without it they cannot take part in the exercise. The former Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly made this appeal in a statement released to Trek Africa Newspaper. Former Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji

Ikuforiji also encouraged Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deploy more logistics to ensure seamless collection of the cards and collaborate with Community Development Associations or Traditional rulers in order to remove bottlenecks encountered by the people.

Meanwhile, Adeyemi Ikuforiji who is a member of the APC Contact and Mobilisation Committee appealed to residents to vote enmasse for all the party’s candidates including, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom he described as the man who knows the terrain. He noted that it is indeed a pay back time for Asiwaju TINUBU having supported the party and candidates at all levels since the return of Democratic Rule in 1999 till date in the country.

He assured that the people of Ikeja and Epe Federal Constituencies are going into the election with one voice in support of TINUBU and renewal of mandate of Governor BABAJIDE SANWOOLU.
