INEC RESIDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER VISITS LAGOS CP, ALABI • Seeks Collaboration for Election Security

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Lagos State, Engr. Segun Osinowo has today paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Command’s Spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu stated that, “The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lagos State, Engr. Segun Osinowo today March 16, 2022 paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc.”

According to Ajisebutu, “Engr. Osinowo who visited the CP alongside senior executives of the Commission lauded CP Alabi for his strides and initiatives that have ensured relative peace and safety across the state.

He equally solicited the support of the Commissioner of Police and the entire Command towards effective election security and a general mutually beneficial professional relationship.

CP Alabi on his part assured the REC of the readiness of the Command to at all times provide adequate security for the conduct of successful elections in the state.
