Most secondary school teachers desire that their brilliant students will take a career in medicine, engineering, and law but ‘God moves in mysterious ways’. So recounts Dr. Ayo Ogunsan’s former English teacher, Pa Samuel Ogunyemi as he spoke briefly with Trek Africa Newspaper.
Enterprising Ayo Ogunsan took to the world of business and he is thriving in leaps and bounds like one of the greatest industrialists to ever come out of Nigeria, the late Molade Okoya Thomas.
Accompanied by his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folashade Ogunyemi to the Gospel Hymns and Songs Concert in celebration of his protege’s 46th birthday celebration, Pa Ogunyemi was so full of joy as he reminisced on the uncommon trajectory that Dr. Ayo Ogunsan took into the world of business and commerce.
Speaking with Trek Africa Newspaper, the retired High school English teacher, Pa Samuel Ogunyemi said: ‘God moves in mysterious ways and Ayo Ogunsan is one of those wonders.’
He recalled about the old days in school: ‘Ayo Ogunsan is shining for other classmates to shine. We looked up to him to read medicine or aeronautical engineering but alas he chose business administration because of his entrepreneurial skills.’
Not worried about Ayo Ogunsan’s different outlook to career, Pa Samuel Ogunyemi noted that they committed him into God’s hands. ‘We prophesied that he is like Molade Okoya Thomas. And that is the prophecy that has come through’, he told Trek Africa Newspaper.
