By Trek Africa Newspaper

The House of Representatives has prohibited journalists from covering its investigative hearing regarding the ₦15 million corruption allegations involving crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
This decision also involves the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS).
This decision was communicated to the House press corps by the Joint Committees on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Services.
Trek Africa Newspaper reports that the lawmakers stated that the investigation into the corruption claims related to the EFCC and NCS in the Bobrisky case will be closed to the press.
This ban comes after an earlier invitation had been extended to the media to report on the proceedings.
