The Chairman of the Directorate for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Hon. Engr. Ebiye Tarabina, has inspected several strategic ongoing projects across the three senatorial districts of the state.

The projects include the construction of Imgbi Junction Bridge, Glory Drive Phase Three, and Polaku- Sabagrea Road and Bridge Project.
Other key projects being monitored by the agency includes the Yenagoa-Oporoma Road, Angiama/Oporoma Bridge Project and the Nembe-Brass Road.

He said the projects are significant infrastructural project aimed at improving transportation and economic activities in the state adding that the Nembe-Brass Road project sand dredging and filling is already underway.

During the inspection, Hon. Tarabina urge contractors to expedite work on these projects, emphasizing the importance of meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. This push for timely completion aligns with the State Government’s commitment to infrastructural development under Governor Douye Diri’s Administration.

Tarabina’s concerns are part of a broader effort to ensure that Bayelsa state’s infrastructure projects are completed on time and to the required standards.

The Directorate for Project Monitoring And Evaluation plays a crucial role in overseeing projects and providing guidance to contractors.
