Often referred to as the ‘Chairman of the Elites’, Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu has touched every nooks and crannies of Iru/Victoria Island LCDA with the dividend of democracy and good governance.
The Executive Chairman has played key roles in engendering massive development the Victoria Island has witnessed in various spheres such as road rehabilitation, healthcare center, education, youth engagement, transport and traffic management, women empowerment and infrastructure and the likes.
Worthy of note is the giant strides of Princess Rasheedat Adu in grassroots development who has piloted the affairs of V/I local council with passion and dedication. She has in no way played any form of the hyped ‘Weaker Vessel’ status that women have often been associated with. Rather, she has shown herself to be an astute administrator, efficient manager of men and resources, an exemplary leader, a virtues woman, mother of all with a special interest for youths development.
