HON. KASUNMU PICKS APC NOMINATION FORMS, SETS SIGHTS ON GREATER IKEJA CONSTITUENCY II

On Thursday, 30th April 2026, at about 2:00pm, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), officially collected his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the Lagos State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), having completed all required payments since Tuesday, 28th April 2026.
Addressing party faithful, constituents, and supporters shortly after the exercise, the scholarly lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency II expressed satisfaction with the process, describing it as “smooth, seamless, and satisfactory.”
Speaking further, Hon. Kasunmu extended heartfelt appreciation to party leadership, members, and constituents across the constituency for their unshaken support and confidence in his leadership.
“I want to seize this opportunity to thank all our leaders, party members, supporters, and constituents for their tireless support and faith in me so far. Today marks the beginning of another forward journey for Ikeja Constituency II.
I have served and represented our constituency with distinction and courage over the years, and I am now ready to take Ikeja Constituency II to even greater heights. Our constituency cannot be handed over to a learner. We have attained a senior and respected rank in the Lagos Parliament, and we cannot afford to start all over again.
At this critical moment, I need your continued support. Let us rise above personal interests and pettiness, and prioritize the collective progress of our constituency. Ikeja Constituency II must move forward—stronger and higher—towards 2027. Together, we will achieve this.” Hon. ARK stated.
Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) has represented Ikeja Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly since 2015.
His legislative excellence and impactful constituency engagement have consistently been described as “Sterling, Superlative, and Sagacious”.
