HON. KASUNMU FELICITATES WITH BABA ETO AT 75

The Chairman House Committee on Lands, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu has congratulated Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, popularly called Baba Eto on his 75th birthday.
In a congratulatory message from the Media Office of the lawmaker, Hon. Kasunmu described Baba Eto as an Iconic Leader who has contributed immensely to the entrenchment and growth of democracy in Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
The message reads:
“Sir, on this auspicious occasion of your 75th Birthday, I want to specially appreciate your relentless efforts and immense contributions to our great party, the APC and your exceptional roles in the stability and progress of democratic governance in our dear State of Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
Your sterling and fatherly contributions as a great leader in Ikeja Constituency 2 has also been a source of inspiration and encouragement to us all.
On behalf of the people of Ikeja Constituency 2 and my immediate family, I want to warmly congratulate you on this landmark occasion of your 75th birthday Sir. It is our prayers that the good Lord whom you are serving faithfully in His Vineyard, will continue to renew your strength and vigour and grant you many more years of joyful celebrations in the years ahead. We salute your sagacity and tenacity. Congratulations and many happy returns Sir”, Hon. ARK stated.
The celebrant, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, is a frontline member of prestigious body of foremost leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, known as Governors Advisory Council (GAC).
A progressive and mercurial politician, Cardinal Odunmbaku is a veteran of many election battles and victories in Lagos and southwest states since 1999. His son is the current Chairman of Ojodu LCDA of Lagos.
Hon. Kasunmu holds Baba Eto in high esteem as legendary political leader who has done much for the younger generation, especially in Lagos State.
There’s also a father-son relationship between the two as a result of the family relationship between Hon. ARK’S late maternal grandmother, Alhaja(Dr) Abibatu Mogaji, Baba Eto and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Cardinal clocked 75 on September 4th.
