HON. KASUNMU COMMISERATES WITH CARDINAL JAMES ODUNMBAKU ON THE PASSING OF HIS WIFE

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Member representing Ikeja Constituency II, Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mother-Celestial Olusimi Akindele-Odunmbaku, beloved wife of respected elder statesman and political leader, Cardinal James Odunmbaku.
In a condolence message issued on Saturday, Hon. Kasunmu extended his heartfelt sympathies to Cardinal Odunmbaku and the entire Odunmbaku family, describing the late Mother-Celestial as a virtuous, compassionate, and God-fearing woman whose life was devoted to the service of God, her family, and humanity.
The lawmaker noted that the deceased was a pillar of strength and unwavering support to her husband, complementing his life’s journey with grace, dignity, and uncommon devotion. He added that her humility, kindness, generosity of spirit, and quiet sacrifices positively impacted countless lives and would remain an enduring legacy for all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Hon. Kasunmu prayed that Almighty God would comfort Cardinal Odunmbaku and the bereaved family, grant them the fortitude to bear the painful loss, and receive the soul of the departed into His eternal kingdom.
“Please accept my deepest sympathies, Sir. Odin a jina sira. May the gentle soul of Mother-Celestial Olusimi Akindele-Odunmbaku rest in perfect peace. Amen,” the statement concluded.
