It’s a cheering and felicitous birthday of a public administrator and Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government Area, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu (aka. Dullar) who has accomplished strikingly outstanding feats in local government administration and grassroot political engagements and mobilization.
It is not surprising that the birthday celebration coincided exactly to one month to the inauguration of an African leadership giant, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This rehashes the great feats of the great administrator. What a remarkable celebration!

It’s the start of a new season for the Executive Chairman of Somolu LGA, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu. And Trek Africa Newspaper can report that in the last 365 days were defining moments for the man popularly known as ‘Dullar’.

In one (1) year, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu was able to champion the cause of fulfilling the presidential candidacy of the Aare Ago of Yorubaland and Jagaban of Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he displayed tremendous support as the Director of Humanitarian Services, Tinubu/Shettima Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat Independent Campaign Council (ICC) and also the Assistant Director in the Local Governments Directorate of APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC).

Alongside his huge responsibility during the electioneering period, ‘Dullar’ was at the forefront of spreading the gospel of APC and the President-elect to the grassroots by actions and words in his defining role as the Mayor of Somolu. For his achievements, he is ranked as one of the best Local Government Chairmen in the country with his touch of class in delivery of dividends of democracy and focus on community development in and around Somolu LGA.
Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has earned a pride of place amongst the political gladiators. His birthday deserves the pomp and pageantry. Interestingly, Trek Africa Newspaper affirms that Dullar is also Hamed like Asiwaju!
Roll the carpet for the birthday celebration of an excellent administrator, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu which is exactly a month to the handing over of power to the President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
