Lagos4Lagos sets up committee to integrate members into PDP

The Lagos4Lagos Movement, has set up a committee for full integration of its members into the Peoples Democratic Parry (PDP) in Lagos State.

Lead Visioner of the movement, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran, said committee would assist in harmonising and aggregating all interests of the group in PDP for the 2023 general elections.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the Lagos4Lagos movement, a splinter group from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state officially declared for the PDP in the state on Jan. 21.

Adediran, in a statement in Lagos by his Press Secretary, Mr Kazeem Bakare, said the committee named “Contact and Integration” was saddled with the task of ensuring a seamless integration of Lagos4Lagos members into the PDP across the 245 wards and 20 Local Government Areas of the state.

He said: “members of the committee will put modalities in place for a planned local government tour across the 20 LGAs next week.

“The 14-member committee, comprising of existing PDP members and Lagos4Lagos PDP members will work assiduously to fast track the integration process.

Adediran, said members of the contact and integration committee included: Deji Wellington as Chairman, Funke Ijayekunle, Organising Secretary; Khairat Ojikutu-Shokoya, Secretary; Chief Fatai Shodimu, and Mr Tajudeen Aremu
Other members are; Bode Makinde; Mr Muda Fasasi; Mr Aderemi Adesina; Mr Yesiru Babatunde; Mr Adio Arobieke; Mr Taiwo Adekogbe; Pastor Patrick Madu and Alhaja Idera Adeyemi.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, the chairman, Wellington promised to work with other members of the committee to achieve the desired result.
