Guber Poll: Your victory, proof of popularity, goodwill, Ogunsan lauds Sanwo-Olu

Elated by the re-election of Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr Ayo Ogunsan, has said the feat is only a ‘proof of popularity and goodwill’.
In his goodwill message, Ogunsan thanked the Governor for his achievements in office in the last four year, while expressing optimism that he would do more in the next administration.
“The news of your victory didn’t come to me as a surprise but as a testament that Lagosians approve of a workaholic and an achiever. In deed, service to humanity is the best work of life and a pedestal upon which public service can be hinged.
“Your Excellency, anyone who traverses the length and breadth of our dear Lagos will be bewildered by your performance within the last four years.

“There is virtually no part of governance that hasn’t felt your tremendous impact in ways too ineffable to describe in words. We can’t begin to start counting your impact in sectors like transport, education, health, security, environment and other areas of human endeavour. Under your watch, the state has had a face-lift far more than you met it.
“Personally, I am a person who so much believes in your visionary leadership and courage to dare things seeming too tough to confront. I believe in you as a man of character, competence and charisma. Now these, to my mind, are the tenets of good leadership.
“Your landslide victory further attests to the fact that you enjoy popularity and goodwill amongst the residents of the state. I hereby congratulate you on your reelection, whilst hoping that you continue to do more for the good people of Lagos State.
“Let me join family, friends and your teeming supporters to say congratulations and to wish you well as you set to paddle the canoe of Lagos State for another four years,”Ogunsan said.
