GOV. SANWO-OLU APPOINTS HON. TUNDE ABODUNRIN AS VICE CHAIR OF DARTS ASSOCIATION

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu has appointed Hon. Tunde Abodunrin into the Lagos State Darts Association as the new Vice-Chair of the sports association. This appointment was conveyed by a letter dated 11th March 2021 and signed by Aina O.A. for the Director-General of the Lagos State Sports Commission. The letter reads ‘I have been directed to inform you of your appointment as Vice Chairperson of Darts Association of Lagos state.
In arriving at the decision of your appointment, due cognizance has been taken of your integrity, personal pedigree, selfless service, and past record of impressive performance.’

‘The management of the Lagos State Sports Commission has no doubt that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear on your newly assigned responsibility. By this, the Commission expected you to put in concerted efforts in making vision and mission of the Commission realizable by coming up with new innovations that will justify the confidence reposed in you.’
At the inauguration which held yesterday, Hon. Tunde Abodunrin who served as member in the dissolved Lagos State Sports Commission Triathlon Association specially thanked the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for giving him the opportunity. He also appreciated the Honorable Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Hon. Segun Dawudu, the Director-General Lagos State Sport Commission, Mr. Gafar Bolowotan, and the Senior Special Assistant (on Political Matters) to the Governor, Mr. Peter Ajayi who were physically present at the ceremony.

His inauguration, alongside other appointees, held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium was presided by the Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Hon. Segun Dawodu.
Hon. Tunde Abodunrin was a former Councillor in Surulere Local Government with likable personality and a proven record of performance and loyalty to his party, All Progressives Congress (APC).

He is a strong grassroots mobilizer in Surulere. He is also the Coordinator of many youth and political groups including Sanwo-olu Footsoldiers and G-Spy in Surulere axis of Lagos State.
His appointment has been perceived as well deserved by all and sundry within the political terrain of Surulere Local Government and beyond.
