FROM N100 TO DEATH: POLICE PARADES DAVID’S KILLERS, OTHER CRIME SUSPECTS

The suspected killers of sound engineer, David Sunday Imoh murdered in Lekki, Lagos last week were paraded today by the Nigeria Police, Lagos State Command. The six identified as Dahiru Ayuba ‘m’, Susan Moses ‘f’, Christopher Dauda ‘m’, Joseph Tella ‘m’, Chigozie Anthony ‘m’, Sunday Azi ‘m’ were paraded alongside other suspects who were nabbed for other crimes, Trek Africa Newspaper can reliably report. The suspected killers will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation by the Nigeria Police.
In the press briefing today, the Commisioner of Police, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi said: ‘Before you today are suspects arrested for varying crimes including armed robbery, conspiracy, cultism, unlawful possession of fire arms, murder, etc.

From these cases which we successfully cracked, we recovered 15 locally made pistols, 68 live cartridges, 4 handsets, 1 axe, charms, 2 cutlasses, 1 saw, 1 pounding pistol, 1 female bag, 1 tortoise.’
Also paraded today were armed robbery suspects who were picked around the Ojo area of Lagos. They are ‘Gambo Abdulhadi ‘m’ 28yrs, Eric Komi ‘m’ 19yrs, Yusuf Ibrahim ‘m’ 15yrs and Suleiman Alhassan ‘m’ 25yrs. Seven (7) locally made pistols, Sixty-Eight (68) live cartridges, cutlasses, axe, charms, four (4) mobile phones, tortoise and a female bag were recovered from the suspects. Investigation is ongoing to apprehend other fleeing suspects in connection with this case and recover more arms and ammunition.’

Other suspects were paraded for crimes ranging from illegal possession of firearms, conspiracy, cultism, among others.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos Command, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc used the medium ‘to assure Lagosians that the security of live and property of residents of Lagos State will continue to be at the top of his policing vision for Lagos State’, Trek Africa Newspaper reports.
