Another edition of the Music Fashion Runway is set to hold in Lagos on Saturday, 4th December, 2021. Now in its 7th edition, the pan-African festival will be a hybrid event, onsite and online, in compliance with COVID-19 protocol. This gives the rare opportunity for a virtual audience to savour the rich African music, fashion, and cultural heritage from any part of the world. The event will also feature the Game Changer Africa Acknowledgement Awards which recognizes the ingenious efforts of great industry players.

For the first time, the Music Fashion Runway will have an official soundtrack. The event holding on 4th December is themed ‘Renaissance, New Beginnings, Bridging the International Divide’. This information was gathered by Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper at a press conference organized by NMO Management Limited, the organizers of the event.

Speaking during the press briefing, Ngozi Omambala, MD/CEO of NMO Management Limited noted that MFR blends cultural African design with music and rich cultural heritage. ‘We are uplifting ourselves and selling Africa to the world. Having the fusion of music industry and fashion industry together is really brilliant and that’s what we anticipate this year. What we are doing here is about collaboration.’
