FAMILIES ARE ‘SOURCE OF COMFORT AND STABILITY’ –
FIRST LADY OLUREMI TINUBU

As the world celebrate the Day of Families today, the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Shade Tinubu CON has urged Nigerians to reach out to the members of both their nuclear and extended family in a show of appreciation. This is because families are ‘a source of comfort and stability’.
In a press statement personally e-signed by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has made available to Trek Africa Newspaper, the First Lady remarked: ‘Today, I celebrate all families that are the foundation of our communities and our nation. Families share a common thread: the love and support we provide for one another.’
‘Our families have been a source of comfort and stability. We have learnt the importance of cherishing the moments we have together, big and small’, she noted.
Mrs. Tinubu encouraged Nigerians, ‘Let us take a moment to appreciate our families and express our gratitude to our grandparents, parents, spouses, children and siblings. Our extended family and friends should not be out, simple phone call, a handwritten note, or a shared meal can make a world of difference. Happy International Day of Families!’
