By Oki Samson, Trek Africa Newspaper

Trek Africa Newspaper reports that a protest to mark the first year anniversary of the EndSARS saga took place at the Lekki toll gate earlier in Lagos.
The protesters in their large numbers gathered with big banners, placard, flags with the inscription, ‘We never forget. 20.10.20. #EndSARS memorial.’
Few celebrities, activists, youths have joined a car procession at the #EndSARSMemorial protest at the tollgate in Lagos.
This is despite a ban on street protests in Lagos by the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu and the heavy presence of armed police personnel at the tollgate.
The celebrities and other activities who turned up at the tollgate with their cars were seen waving Nigerian flags from inside the vehicles and honking the horns while singing solidarity songs.
