We welcome you all to the new year, 2023, which is another crucial period to elect our new Political Leaders, Executive and Legislative, only by those who have their individual Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs). It’s going to be “one man, one vote”, as usual, but we all need to fully cooperate with the law enforcement Agencies and the INEC officers to prevent Violence, Rigging, and Assassionation in our Community, because there must security threats from desperate Politicians and their ardent Supporters, who do wake up to their responsibility of shopping for our votes, only when it has gotten to Eleven “O” Clock.
It’s only when we all embrace Peace, Unity and Progress, that we can have peaceful co – existence. The stock in trade of PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who used his former position as Vice President of Nigeria and Chairman, Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) championing the Privatisation Programme of Federal Government to sell Federal Government Companies at ridiculous prices then and now, still boasting to sell all of our Refineries, if elected, to raise $1 Billion for unrealistic Youth Empowerment Programme, is “no to National Unity or Rotational Presidency”. That is a major crime against all of us in this Country. Someone that watched his Brother ruled Nigeria for complete 8 years is scheming to be elected President for another 8 years. Act of wickedness. “A sin against Human Being, is a sin against God”. We can never forget Alhaji Atiku Abubakar role, when former President Goodluck Jonathan completed Late President Umaru Musa Yar’dua tenure in 2011, won a 4 year tenure till 2015 and then decided to recontest for another 4 year tenure. He fought him alongside former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the new PDP Governors, to standstill in the spirit of Rotational Presidency. It’s now time for his Umbrella House to be torn apart, by the G – 5 Governors of PDP and all of us in this Country, patriotic Individuals, to make sure he doesn’t put Nigeria to shame in the next election and to also avenge the 2003 injustice against the G – 5 Governors of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), which was perpetrated through massive riggings across the 5 Southwest States of Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo, by the PDP, by sanctioning him through our valid and overwhelming votes for going against the laid down gentleman agreement or Principle of Rotational Presidency in major Political Parties in Nigeria. We mustn’t allow him to add to the insult of perceived injustice in the land among the ethnic tribes in the Country, which all of us have been trying to correct through zoning.
The G – 5 Governors of the PDP shaping 2023 election are nemesis and resurrection of the rigged G – 5 Governors of AD, who lost to the rigging machine or injustice of the PDP in 2003 election but we thank God, a repeat of such in 2007 was averted through tribunals in Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Edo States, with tangible support of the National leader of the Opposition Party, Action Congress (AC) and now APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
None of the leaderships of the 3 factions of PDP, Atiku/Ayu led PDP, Peter Obi Labour Party (LP), and Kwakwaso New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), that were united before their recent disagreement over the PDP Presidential Ticket can be exonorated from suspicious silence and presentation of “no case submission in Court” by the PDP Government on late Chief Bola Ige, SAN, murder case (2001 – 2003), which had since given an open Cheque to subsequent violence, rigging, killing, maiming and massacre in Nigeria, the major reason for the increased but now reduced insecurity in the Country since then till date; misappropriation of $16 Billion meant for power generation and distribution in Nigeria, this is a major cause of irregular power supply in the Country.
Dasuki Gate or $2 Billion arms procurement deal: Illegal sharing of this whopping sum through the Office of former National Security Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Sambo Dasuki, by the PDP heavyweights is another major reason for the continued but now reduced insecurity in Nigeria. Remember, that former Spokesman of Labour Party, Doyin Okupe, was recently convicted of taking his own share of N702 million out of the total sum.
The 2 year imprisonment or N13 million fine placed on him wasn’t in anyway commensurate with gravity of the offence, fuelling suspicion that Mr Peter Obi went behind door to do “plea bargaining”. And this is the social media acclaimed Messiah for Nigeria. What a shame! His replacement by Prof Akin Osuntokun, also from the Southwest, is a pointer to the fact that Mr Peter Obi major target in the next election is Southern Nigeria while that of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is Northern Nigeria because the idea of zoning implies that, if a Presidential Candidate comes from the South like Mr Peter Obi, his Running Mate, Party Chairman (Senator Iyorchia Ayu, Northerner as Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, PDP, and Barrister Julius Abure, Southerner as Mr Peter Obi, LP) must be Northerners, so also the fourth in rank, the Campaign Director – General (Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Northerner like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, PDP, and Prof Akin Osuntokun, Southerner like Mr Peter Obi) because the influence of Presidency from South for Labour Party surpasses that of 3 other positions combined together. This is where Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stands out when Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi failed woefully. 2023: Unifier vs Dividers. Please, watchout!
It has long become our tradition to confront with fuel scarcity around November/December leading to spontaneous emergence of black markets but present Administration has been doing well I in this regard with exemption of this period, which is by far being managed to prevent scarcity of the product and springing up of its black markets in Town. Against all odds, it’s not as bad as that of PDP era and by God’s grace, next election would give us Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the man with medal touch, everything he touches becomes gold. Lagos State Security, Economy, Human and Physical Capacity Developments are good examples.
