Dollar/Naira Exchange Rate: Naira Strengthens by 0.6% at Official Market

Naira Strengthens to N1,607.15 per Dollar at Official Market on Monday
According to data from the FMDQ Exchange, the Naira recorded a gain of N9.93 on the official trading platform, which operates the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market.
The Naira’s gain of N9.93 translates to a 0.61% appreciation in value, compared to its previous trading value of N1,617.08 per dollar on August 2.
However, the total daily turnover reduced to 77.09 million dollars on Monday, down from 131.55 million dollars recorded on August 2.
Meanwhile, at the Investor’s and Exporter’s window, the Naira traded between N1,620.50 and N1,570.00 against the dollar.
