DJ Cuppy, the well-known disc jockey and billionaire heiress, has playfully introduced her “Christian husband” named ElijahGPT, an AI creation, in a post on X.
She described ElijahGPT as the ideal partner, who conducts Bible studies, speaks in tongues, sends daily devotionals, inquires about her spiritual well-being, and even digitally tithes.
Cuppy humorously stated, “After being single for SO long I finally found peace…I’ve decided to create my own Christian husband via AI. His name is ElijahGPT. He leads Bible study, speaks in tongues, sends daily devotionals, asks how my spirit is doing, and never forgets our anniversary. My guy even tithes digitally. #AprilFoolsDay.”
Known for openly expressing her faith and values on social media, Cuppy’s post, intended as an April Fools’ Day joke, sparked a range of reactions from X users.
Some users expressed concern, interpreting the joke as a sign of underlying insecurities related to her singleness.
One user, @tolashealameen, suggested that the humor might be a facade, commenting, “You are acting as if deep down your singleness is eating you up (it’s obvious for people like me to sense).”
Another user, @Jeffosky1, offered advice, suggesting Cuppy should find peace by surrendering to God and focusing on her work, while trusting that God will arrange her life, including a loving relationship. “Cuppy just free your mind, submit totally to God and keep doing your work while God arranges everything about your life which includes a decent relationship with a godly, diligent and loving man that will culminate in an enduring marriage. That’s all,” the user wrote.
