CP SALMAN DOGO GARBA DECORATES 11 NEWLY PROMOTED SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS OF KANO COMMAND

Today, 19th of September 2024, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Police Command, CP Salman Dogo Garba decorated eleven (11) newly promoted Senior Police Officers of Kano State Police Command.
2. The officers are beneficiaries of the promotion released by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on 2nd September 2024 from which Kano State Police Command benefited with eleven (11). One officer among them was promoted from the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) while two Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) were promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs). Others include eight Superintendents of Police (SPs) who were promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
3. Abdu Sabo was decorated with the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) while Haliru Ibrahim and Mohammed Chindo Usman were decorated with the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). Those decorated with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) are:
i. Bashir Tijjani
ii. Raubilu Ubayi Ringim
iii. Abubakar Ado
iv. Kabiru Bello
v. Mohammed Ibrahim Aga
vi. Amiru Lawal
vii. Dahiru Ya’u
viii. Abdulmalik Ibrahim
4. In his remark, the Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba stated that “I welcome everyone to this very important event, the decoration of officers from the lower rank to higher rank. I want to congratulate the promotees, their families, and the Command. Furthermore, Promotion comes with a higher task, therefore, I charged you not to be reluctant, but to redouble your efforts while discharging your duties. In addition, I want to use this opportunity to thank the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, PhD, the Police Service Commission (PSC) for finding these officers worthy for the promotion. Finally, I wish all invitees journey mercy back to their destinations. Thank you.
5. In his vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted officers, newly decorated DCP Abdu Sabo stated that “It is with profound humility and deep gratitude that I stand before you today, as the most senior among the promotees, to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police and the Police Service Commission for recognizing our unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and unrelenting commitment to the Nigeria Police Force.
