CP Ogbeghagha Assumes Duty As Taraba State New Commissioner of Police • assures residents of synergy, proactive, intelligence-led policing

The Taraba State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that CP EDWIN OGBEGHAGHA, psc, mnips has assumed duty as the 34th Commissioner of Police, Taraba State Command, taking over from CP MOORKWAP SEBASTIAN DONGSHAL SM ICM psc(+), who has proceeded on retirement after a distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
CP Edwin brings to the Command vast professional experience and operational knowledge acquired throughout his distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force. His assumption of duty marks a renewed commitment to strengthening security, protecting lives and property, and maintaining peace across the State.
The new Commissioner has assured the people of Taraba State of the Command’s commitment to proactive, intelligence-led and community-oriented policing, while working closely with sister security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders.
He has further called on the Taraba State Government and members of the public to support the Police with timely and credible information on suspicious activities, assuring that such information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
CP Edwin also warned criminal elements and their collaborators that the Command will remain resolute in confronting crime and bringing offenders to justice.
The Commissioner reassures the good people of Taraba State that their safety and security remain his top priority, and urges everyone to remain law-abiding and security conscious.
