CP ODUMOSU APPOINTS CSP IWASOKUN AS DPO FESTAC

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has appointed CSP Femi Olorundun Iwasokun as the Divisional Police Officer, Festac Division of the Lagos State Police Command on Friday 26th March, 2021.
In a press statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Iwasokun hails from Akungba Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

He bags BSc in Political Science from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State. He enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police, in 2007.
He was a Sector Commander, Tincan Axis, Apapa, of the defunct Presidential Taskforce on Apapa Gridlock and former Second in Command in Mopol 16 Abeokuta, 18 Owerri, 5 Benin, 2 Keffi Road, VI, Lagos and Admin Officer MOPOL 17 Akure and 48 Ahoda, Rivers.
He was also the Personal Assistant to the Director, Directorate of Peace Keeping, Nigeria Police Force, Force Headquarters Abuja before he was appointed as the PRO and Desk Officer of the same Directorate.
Shortly after is appointment as the desk officer of the Directorate, he was made the pioneer Camp Commandant of the Nigeria Police Force International Peace Keeping Training Centre, Force Headquarters, Garki Abuja. He is a seasoned and disciplined police officers, happily married with kids.
The Command wish him happy and successful tenure as the new DPO Festac, Lagos State Police Command. Femi Iwasokun took over from CSP Gabriel Funsho, who has been redeployed to Oke Odo Division as DPO.
