COVID-19: Eleganza Donates 50,000 Essential Items to Vulnerable Nigerians

In an effort to alleviate the sufferings of some Nigerians and make life more comfortable for them especially in this challenging period where the government has ordered a partial lockdown due to the coronavirus, the indigenous manufacturing company, Eleganza Industrial City Limited has said it would donate 50,000 pieces of essential items manufactured by the company to support government in reaching out to the vulnerable citizens.

The Managing Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Shade Okoya and wife of the business mogul, Chief Razak Okoya, announced this on Saturday 28th March in a statement she personally signed. She stated that, “The donation was part of  the company’s corporate social responsibility and contributions to let the vulnerable in the society get the resources they need and make life comfortable”, she noted.

The statement read in part: “At this very difficult time of uncertainty, we must all do what we can to ease the suffering of Nigerians in this trying period.

“I am pleased to announce that Eleganza Industrial City Ltd under the Chairmanship of Chief Rasaki Akanni Okoya, CON, will be making a donation of 50,000 pieces of essential items manufactured by our company.

“These items will support medical services in an effort to combat the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak in Nigeria”, she noted.
