COVID-19: APAPA IGANMU LCDA PARTNERS LAGOS STATE GOVT OVER STREETS AND MARKETS FUMIGATION

The Chairman of Apapa Iganmu Lcda, Hon. (Dr) Alhaja Funmilayo Akande Muhammed in an effort to fight and curb the ravaging Coronavirus across the State, has set to use the equipments and sensitisation materials that was delivered to her by Lagos State government through the officials from the ministry of local government and community affairs at the local government secretariat on 27th March, 2020 to funmigate the communities and markets in the council area.
The Chairman is imploring residents and officials of the council to put all hands on deck in ensuring that this plague is curtailed from penetrating into Apapa Iganmu Lcda and also to make sure that the people are safe from this deadly disease ravaging the world called Corona virus.
According to Funmilayo Akande-Muhammed, “The disinfection of Apapa Iganmu Lcda will begin from the local government secretariat then to the Oba palace and all the major markets within Apapa Iganmu community with some of the disinfectant equipment supervised by the environmental officer”, she emphasized.
