CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRANT BRINGS SUCCOUR TO WIDOWS IN OJOKORO LCDA

Succor came the way of some widows in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State recently, as Hon. Olateju Adeoye, a chairmanship aspirant, reached out to them with some foodstuff.
The relief materials, Ijoba-Ibile TV reporter gathered, were received by Prince Adewale Bello, Ojokoro APC party chairman, during a programme held at Ojokoro APC party Secretariat, Bola Ahmed Tinubu road, Jankara Ijaiye, Lagos State.
Prince Adewale, who was accompanied by some APC party executive members of the local government area and wards chairmen in Ojokoro LCDA, received cartons of noodles as well as spaghetti.
Speaking at event, Hon. Olateju said he was moved to donate the relief materials because of the sufferings of the widows.
“I’m aware of the plight of the widows in Ojokoro LCDA and as such, I have been moved to dole out these food items to cushion the hardship biting hard on them,” he said.
He, however, noted that his philanthropic act has nothing to do with his political ambition, but is all about rendering service to humanity and putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in our contemporary society, while promising to continue to help the needy.
