CG AUDI HAS ENABLED US TO RECORD TREMENDOUS SUCCESS – HEAD, NSCDC CG’S SIS, DANDAURA

The Head of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant-General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG’s SIS), DC Apollos S. Dandaura has affirmed that the squad is enjoying immense benefit from the CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi which continues to ensure that they are performing optimally. He added that the Squad has become a thorn in the flesh of oil thieves and pipeline vandals across the country. DC Dandaura told President of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP, Oki Samson in Lagos at the 2022 edition of the annual National CrimeWatch Awards organized by Tony Okpe Communications.
DC Apollos S. Dandaura shared: ‘I want to assure you that the Commandant-General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG’s SIS) under my watch has recorded tremendous success. This squad is an intelligence-based unit. It is up-to-date in terms of training and retraining. Whatever modules that is being brought by criminals, we will have activated our countermeasures. That is why when you get to the field and mention the name of this unit to criminals especially those involved in oil theft, they will tell you that we are a serious unit. One, compromise is ruled out of our operation. Two, we uphold our schedule to the core and ensure that crime is nipped in the bud. We don’t wait for it to happen.’

He lauded the NSCDC CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, ‘I attribute the success to God Almighty, the Commandant-General is someone that believes in God. With God, he has been recording remarkable achievement. Under his watch, tremendous successes have been recorded in the NSCDC and not just that but in the country at large. That is why he’s been recognized all over the country right from the apex – the office of Mr. President.’
‘The Commandant-General has tasked all formations to be up and doing in crime fighting. If you look at the result of the fight against oil bunkering, there is a fantastic drop. He has put in place mechanism to ensure that crime and criminality are checkmated. He supervises directly and receives feedback from the field’, he told NAOSNP.
Now that Nigeria has entered the festive season, Dandaura assured: ‘I want to tell Nigerians that there is more hope in this ember month than ever before. With synergy of NSCDC and other sister agencies, we are on red alert to ensure that ember month becomes a hitch-free one. We only appeal to the public to kindly assist us with informations in all the offices of NSCDC spread nationwide from village level to LGA to state. I want to assure them of safety and treating their information with high secrecy.’
