Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba is a rising figure in the Nigerian political space, and a worthy representation for the women population. Over the years, she has proven that the female gender can be successful in leadership and politics, as they have always been in other spheres of life.
‘The product of grace’ as Princess Shade would regard herself has grown from strength to strength as a grassroots mobiliser, woman leader, and astute local council boss. Currently, the Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos state, Hon. Olabanji-Oba doubles as the National Deputy Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria. And she makes giant strides in both roles delivering quality representation for the people.
According to TREK Africa Newspaper findings; our correspondent observed that, Great improvement has come up for the children, youth, women and men of Ikorodu Local Government in the areas of education, healthcare, social empowerment and other facets due to the huge backing the Princess offers the brilliant leadership of the boss of the council.

She lends her unflagging support towards the rise of the All Progressives Congress in her immediate community, among the women folk and the men as well. Due to her resourceful nature, she has volunteered at various forums and working groups for the uplifting of the party in the local, state and national levels.
Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba has demonstrated that as a woman she is no pushover in the body polity of the nation. She has displayed her prowess as a nation builder and society nurturer.
