The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu was furious to see persons in their numbers allegedly violating the restriction of movement order issued by the state police command.
CP Odumuso known for tactical crime fighting was on ground on Saturday 5th, December, 2020 to make sure there’s compliance to the restriction of movement in some part of Lagos state during the Lagos East Senatorial District and Kosofe 2 Bye-Election.
Suspected Boys arrested during the Bye-Election period
Journalists covering the election saw the active CP arresting
violators and vehicles impounded likewise some youths, four of them suspected to be Yahoo boys were caught with various charms and disturbing elements at Kosofe area of mile 12 and taken to Ketu police station.

Some violators who were arrested claimed ignorance of the election and restriction order, pleads with the police but the CP Odumosu insisted they be arrested to serve as warning to others.
In his word: “these youths that are supposed to be excercising their civic right to effect the change they want.”
