The Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Hon (Dr.) Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh has finally been authenticated as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party’s candidate for the Amuwo-Odofin Chairmanship position towards the Lagos State Electoral Commission’s scheduled Local Government Council Elections for 24th July 2021.
The incumbent Local Government Chairman urged all his supporters and all other party stalwarts to remain calm and focus in preparation for the July Council poll.
It was earlier speculated that a former Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker, Hon Dipo Olorunrinu had clinched the ticket ahead of the Council Boss who on Saturday clearly won the primary with a wide margin. Several leaders and members of the party in Amuwo-Odofin who had earlier protested against the erroneous speculation are now in joyous mood that their preferred aspirant, Dr Valentine Buraimoh has been handed the LASIEC form as the APC candidate for Amuwo-Odofin LGA for the Council Election.
