BREAKING! Aisha Binani Elected First Female Governor In Nigeria

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC this Sunday morning declared Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani the winner of the Adamawa gubernatorial elections. Trek Africa Newspaper can report that the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa made the declaration after the supplementary election which held yesterday 15th April 2023.
With this declaration, Senator Binani becomes the first elected female deputy Governor. The guber polls had earlier been forced into a rerun after it was initially declared inconclusive.
