Bode Opeseitan Returns To Globacom As Director, External Communication & PR

After resigning from one of Nigeria’s foremost telecommunications network provider, Globacom a year and a half ago, Bode Opeseitan who was its former Director of Public Relations, Events and Promotion has returned to the mobile network as its new Director, External Communication & Public Relations.

Mr Opeseitan, a pioneer staff at Globacom, had reportedly left the firm in 2017 to run a family business, having worked there for almost 14 years before his exit.

Confirming the information on one of his social media pages, Opeseitan writes: “I wish to confirm that it is true. I thank everyone, particularly my friends and associates in the media who called or sent messages to wish me well and assure me of their full support. I was stupefied when a media chief said last night, “you’re one of the best in your field.” I cannot thank you all enough for the confidence you have reposed in me. As we embark on this journey, I urge you all to please stand by me and this great brand which definitely has a lot of spectacular offerings for its subscribers.

Recall, after leaving Globacom, he cofounded SA&B Mega Resources Limited, a fully integrated African marketing communications company.

A Fellow of the World Press Institute in Macalester College, Minnesota, USA; Poynter Institute, Florida, USA; and the Reuters Foundation, UK; Opeseitan worked at African Newspapers of Nigeria Plc for eight years, rising to the post of Editor, Tribune on Saturday.

He is an alumnus of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta and the prestigious University of Ibadan.
