BILESANMI, ATCIS CELEBRATE TUNDE RAHMAN ON NEW ACADEMIC LAUREL

The Association of Telephone, Cable TV and Internet Subscriber of Nigeria (ATCIS), a leading advocacy body with over 223 million telecom subscribers across 36 states within six geo-political zone in Nigeria have celebrated Mr. Tunde Rahman, the media aide to the President-elect, Federal Republic of Nigeia, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his new academic laurel. Mr. Tunde Rahman recently bagged the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) obtained from the University of Leicester making it his second Masters degree having obtained a MSc in Communications from the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo.

In a statement released to Trek Africa Newspaper, the National President of the Telecom Subscribers, Hon. Prince Amb. Adesina Jelili Bilesanmi aka Ojueko lauded the focus and resilience of the media czar, Tunde Rahman who despite his busy political engagement was still able to prioritize learning. Bilesanmi reiterated that education is very important to an individual’s professional growth as well as a nation’s developmental strides.

 

 

Trek Africa Newspaper gathered from Amb. Adesina Bilesanmi that the ATCIS was established in August 2015 with Reg.CAC/IT/NO90152 as well as the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) with the approval of Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) on 16th January 2017.

It has made significant progress in various reforms ever since. With 295 successful achievements to date, 860 newspaper publication both online, local, international news as well as radio and national Television interviews, ATCIS has received 20 awards from government agencies, corporate bodies and international organizations, including one from the world leaders Telecom Conference in Spain.

The advocacy body, ATCIS has the mission to promote mutual co-existence, fair play, defend the right among subscribers by endorsing and ensuring good products and network service delivery from network operators and service providers to its members, while providing a platform to advance the right of Telephone, Cable TV and Internet subscribers throughout Nigeria.
