BEWARE, OUR NATIONAL OFFICER NOT ON LINKEDIN – WAEC NIGERIA

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has pleaded with Nigerians and the general public not to have anything to do with a certain social media user who is parading himself as the National Officer of the examination body in Nigeria.
A statement released to Trek Africa Newspaper by the Head of Public Affairs of the body, Mrs. M. F. Adesina revealed: ‘Our attention has been drawn to a certain LinkedIn account, Patrick Areghan, who parades himself as the Head of the Nigeria National Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).’
‘The Council wishes to inform the general public that the Head of National Office of WAEC-Nigeria, Mr. Patrick E. Areghan, FCGP, has no account on LinkedIn.com. Any account on the named social media platform bearing his name and photograph must be the work of an evil impostor. The general public is, by this information, advised to disregard any statement, comment, solicitation, or otherwise from the charlatan, whose main aim could be to defraud unsuspecting individuals.’
‘The Council will always communicate with the public through its verified media of communication. We remain committed to serving and preserving the education of the African child’, Adesina told Trek Africa Newspaper.
