Bayelsa PFN Commends Gov. Douye Diri for Pragmatic leadership qualities

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), in the state has applauded Governor Douye Diri for his unique and pragmatic leadership qualities, saying that only God fearing leaders can properly guide Bayelsa state in the path of truth while taking essential large-scale policy decisions that would benefit the ordinary people with a view to improving their standard of living in line with the principles of good governance.
Speaking with newsmen in Yenagoa on arrival from the 16th Biennial Conference of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Enugu, where Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State were conferred with the ‘Grand Defender of the Faith’ and ‘Defender of the Faith’ awards, respectively, Chairman, PFN Rebranding Committee in the state, Apostle Kiyaramo Timiebi thanked Governor Douye Diri and Special Adviser to the governor on Religious Affairs, Rev. Godspower Asingba for facilitating the state’s delegation to the national conference.
Apostle Kiyaramo expressed delight at the governor’s generosity to PFN and other Christian organisations in the state, described Senator Diri as a God fearing leader, just as he acknowledged the role of the chairman of PFN, Professor Prosper Ayawei in ensuring that the state’s delegation had a smooth trip to Enugu for the 16th biennial conference.
The clergyman further advised that the governor not to relent in being open to good and godly counsel from Christian leaders at all times.
According to the cleric, who also is the General Overseer of Kingdom Grace Mission Intentional Church, Oxbow Lake, Yenagoa, the decisions of good leaders will always shape our state, communities, and organizations, noting that so far, Governor Diri has proven his mettle as a man of integrity who communicates the policy decisions of the prosperity administration to all and sundry through appropriate media channels to the understanding of the people he is leading.
Apostle Kiyaramo congratulated Bishop Waloke on his emergence as the new National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), believing that under his leadership the organisation will experience unprecedented changes to the glory of God and to the benefit of the church in general.
