People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care goes that popular quote. If there is any admirable quality that people emphasize and emulate in Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, it is his passionate love for God and His people. He cares so much for people and always wants to make them happy and feel great.

Many people – young and old – mentioned to Trek Africa Newspaper that Ayo Ogunsan is perhaps the only person who can bring them out for social functions. This is to underscore the extent of love that he dispenses to people irrespective of age, religion, and social status.

At the recent Gospel Hymns and Songs Concert which held in Lagos, many people bear their minds on the impact of Ayo Ogunsan in their lives. This was in celebration of his 46th birthday.

Speaking at the event, the elderly Pastor Afuwape noted: ‘I don’t usually come for parties like this but this is different. You are special, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan. I see the touch of God in your life.’

‘When you have the touch of God, He opens your eyes and gives you honour. He prepares you for heaven, He makes you enjoy heaven while you are still on the Earth.’

Another elderly clergyman and missionary, Pastor Michael recounted the direct lifesaving impact that Dr. Ayo Ogunsan had on his life. Appreciating Ayo Ogunsan, the missionary Pastor said: ‘I want to thank you for your help. I got to know you through Pastor Babatope. I was a missionary in a closed country where you are not allowed to preach. I preached and I was sent packing out of the country. But he told me how much is the ticket to go back. To my surprise, Ayo wired the money to take me to Mauritania. Yet I ran into trouble again for preaching to an indigene.’

‘I got stroke at a point, Dr. Ayo directed me to LASUTH. They told me there’s nothing they can do for me because it was during strike but when I mentioned his name, they started taking care of me’, Trek Africa Newspaper gathered.

‘The medical doctors said I would no longer be able to think or talk well. But to the Glory of God and by the help of Ayo Ogunsan, I can think and talk well. I am here today’, concluded Pastor Michael.

Trek Africa Newspaper gathered that another clergyman who attended the birthday celebration was a longtime friend of Dr. Ayo Ogunsan. Reminiscing the long time relationship which has spanned three decades, Pastor Wale Dosunmu said: ’32 years ago, Ayo Ogunsan was the President of the fellowship while I was the treasurer of the fellowship.’

The Special Adviser, Works and Infrastructure to Lagos State Governor, Engr. Aramide recalled about Ogunsan, ‘I met him last three years and he came across as God-fearing and someone who says things as it is. He lives for God purposefully. May God add years to your life.’

‘The diamonds and jewels will build this country. You will continue to succeed’, the member of the Lagos executive council cabinet prayed.

Speaking briefly about Ayo Ogunsan while he led the cutting of the birthday cake, the Chairman of Dowen College, Lekki, Dr. Olumide Phillips expressed ‘Ayo is my grandson, radiates joy. You will be joy today, you will be joy tomorrow, you will be joy everyday in Jesus name.’

Also, billionaire construction giant, Sir Olu Okeowo bare his thoughts to Trek Africa Newspaper. He shared: ‘Ayo, I love you from the top of my heart. I have so much faith in you, and I always tell you. God will never fail you. Whoever wants you to fall will fall for your sake.’
